Ingredients

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

½ cup unsalted butter

1 cup powdered sugar

2 large eggs

2 large egg yolks

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

½ cup all-purpose flour

Pinch of salt

Optional: Ice cream for serving

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and grease four ramekins with butter and dust with cocoa powder to prevent sticking.

In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate chips and butter together in 30-second intervals, stirring after each until smooth and fully melted.

Stir in the powdered sugar until well combined and creamy.

Whisk in the eggs, egg yolks, and vanilla extract until the mixture is smooth and fluffy.

Gently fold in the flour and a pinch of salt until just combined; do not over mix.

Divide the batter evenly among the prepared ramekins.

Place the ramekins on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 12-14 minutes, or until the edges are firm but the center is soft and jiggly.

Remove from the oven and let cool for 1 minute. Carefully invert each ramekin onto a plate and tap gently to release the cake.

Serve immediately with a scoop of ice cream on top or on the side for added indulgence!
