Ingredients

3 lbs country style pork ribs

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 teaspoons garlic powder

2 teaspoons onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon dried thyme

1 teaspoon dried rosemary

1 teaspoon salt

teaspoon black pepper

1 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite brand or homemade)

cup apple cider vinegar

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 300F (150C).

Prepare the pork ribs: Rinse the country style pork ribs under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.

Mix your spices: In a small bowl, combine the garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, thyme, rosemary, salt, and black pepper.

Rub the ribs: Drizzle olive oil over the ribs and then generously rub the spice mixture all over them, ensuring an even coating on both sides.

Create a baking setup: Place the seasoned ribs on a baking pan lined with aluminum foil or a baking rack set inside a pan to allow fat to drip off.

Mix BBQ sauce and vinegar: In a separate bowl, mix the BBQ sauce and apple cider vinegar together until well combined.

Sauce it up: Brush half of the BBQ sauce mixture over the ribs, reserving the other half for later.

Cover and roast: Cover the ribs tightly with aluminum foil to lock in moisture and place them in the preheated oven. Bake for 2.5 to 3 hours until the ribs are tender and the meat pulls away from the bone easily.

Glaze for the finish: After the ribs are tender, remove the foil, and brush the remaining BBQ sauce mixture over the ribs. Increase oven temperature to 400F (200C) and bake uncovered for an additional 20-30 minutes, or until the sauce is caramelized and bubbly.

Serving: Remove the ribs from the oven and let them rest for about 10 minutes. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and serve with your favorite sides like coleslaw, cornbread, or baked beans.
