Ingredients
  

1 cup fresh pineapple chunks

1/2 cup fresh blueberries

2 oz tequila (preferably blanco)

1 oz triple sec (orange liqueur)

1 oz freshly squeezed lime juice

1 oz simple syrup (adjust for sweetness)

Ice

Lime wedges and additional blueberries for garnish

Coarse salt or sugar for rimming (optional)

Instructions
 

Prepare the Glass: If desired, rim your margarita glass with lime juice and dip it into coarse salt or sugar to coat the rim. Set aside.

    Blend the Fruits: In a blender, combine the fresh pineapple chunks and blueberries. Blend until smooth, then strain through a fine mesh sieve to remove any seeds and pulp if you prefer a smoother texture.

      Mix the Margarita: In a cocktail shaker, combine the strained fruit puree, tequila, triple sec, lime juice, and simple syrup. Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until well chilled.

        Serve: Fill the prepared glass with ice (if desired) and pour the margarita mixture over the ice.
