2 ounces silver tequila

1 ounce pineapple juice (freshly squeezed for best flavor)

1 ounce lime juice (freshly squeezed)

1 ounce agave syrup (adjust to taste)

1 ounce triple sec or orange liqueur

Fresh pineapple wedges and lime slices for garnish

Tajn or sea salt for rimming the glass (optional)

Instructions
 

If desired, rim your glass: Rub a lime wedge around the edge of your glass, then dip it into a plate of Tajn or sea salt to coat.

    In a cocktail shaker, add the silver tequila, pineapple juice, lime juice, agave syrup, and triple sec.

      Fill the shaker with ice cubes, cover, and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds to mix well and chill the ingredients.

        Strain the mixture into the prepared glass filled with ice or serve it straight up in a chilled glass if preferred.
