Ingredients

2 cups fresh pineapple, diced

2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and halved

4 cups cold water

1/4 cup fresh lime juice (about 2 limes)

1/4 cup sugar or honey (adjust to taste)

Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Ice cubes

Instructions

In a blender, combine the diced pineapple and hulled strawberries. Blend until smooth and well combined.

Strain the blended mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher to remove any pulp and seeds if desired.

Add the cold water, fresh lime juice, and sugar or honey to the strained fruit juice. Stir well until the sweetener is fully dissolved.

Taste the agua fresca and adjust sweetness or acidity by adding more lime juice or sweetener as needed.

Refrigerate the agua fresca for at least 30 minutes to chill and allow the flavors to meld.

Serve in glasses filled with ice cubes, garnished with fresh mint leaves for an extra refreshing touch.
