Ingredients

2 cups elbow macaroni

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 pound pulled pork (cooked, seasoned)

4 cups sharp cheddar cheese (grated)

1 cup cream cheese (softened)

2 cups milk

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup panko breadcrumbs

2 tablespoons butter (melted)

1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

Cook the Pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the elbow macaroni and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

Make the Cheese Sauce: In a large saucepan over medium heat, combine the olive oil and melted butter. Add the cream cheese and stir until melted. Gradually whisk in the milk until smooth.

Season the Sauce: Add the garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt. Stir to combine. Gradually add the grated cheddar cheese, stirring continuously until the cheese has melted and the sauce is creamy.

Combine Pasta and Pulled Pork: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked macaroni and the pulled pork. Pour the cheese sauce over the mixture and stir until everything is well coated.

Transfer to Baking Dish: Pour the mac and cheese mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.

Prepare Topping: In a small bowl, mix the panko breadcrumbs with a tablespoon of melted butter until combined. Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture evenly over the mac and cheese.

Bake: Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.

Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
