Ingredients
  

1 pound ground beef

1 medium onion, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

8 ounces egg noodles

1 can (10.5 ounces) cream of mushroom soup

1 cup sour cream

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup frozen peas (optional)

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
 

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

    Cook Noodles: In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add egg noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

      Brown the Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula. Drain excess grease.

        Add Vegetables: Stir in the chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté until the onion becomes translucent, about 3-4 minutes.

          Combine Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked beef mixture, drained noodles, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, Worcestershire sauce, Italian herbs, and shredded cheese. If using, fold in the frozen peas. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

            Transfer to Casserole: Pour the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, spreading it evenly.

              Bake: Cover the casserole with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes to allow the top to become slightly golden.

                Serve: Remove from oven, let cool for a few minutes, then garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
