Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 cup brown sugar, packed

1/2 cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon butterscotch extract

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup fresh blueberries, rinsed and dried

1/2 cup butterscotch chips

1/4 cup powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Cream the Butter and Sugars: In a large mixing bowl, use a hand mixer or stand mixer to cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes.

Add Eggs and Extracts: Beat in the eggs, one at a time, followed by the vanilla and butterscotch extracts, mixing until well combined.

Mix Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.

Fold in Blueberries and Butterscotch Chips: Gently fold in the fresh blueberries and butterscotch chips, being careful not to smash the blueberries.

Scoop Cookies: Use a cookie scoop or tablespoon to drop dollops of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden and the centers are just set.

Cool and Dust: Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely. Once cooled, dust with powdered sugar for a magical finish.

Serve and Enjoy: Serve these enchanting cookies with a mug of Butterbeer for the full Ravenclaw experience.
