Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups water
  • 4 bags black tea bags
  • 1/4 cup sugar adjust to taste
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup ice cubes for serving
  • slices lemon for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Boil 4 cups of water in a saucepan.
  • Once the water is boiling, remove it from heat and add the black tea bags. Let steep for about 10 minutes.
  • Remove the tea bags and stir in the sugar and vanilla extract until dissolved.
  • Allow the tea to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until chilled.
  • To serve, pour the iced tea over ice cubes in glasses and garnish with lemon slices.

Notes

Tip 1: For a stronger flavor, use double the tea bags.
Tip 2: You can replace sugar with honey or sweeteners if preferred.
