Ingredients

4 cups fresh watermelon, cubed and seedless

1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 4-6 lemons)

1/2 cup granulated sugar (adjust to taste)

4 cups cold water

Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Ice cubes

Instructions

In a blender, combine the cubed watermelon and blend until smooth. Strain the juice through a fine mesh sieve into a large bowl or pitcher to remove pulp, pressing down with a spatula to extract as much juice as possible.

In another bowl, mix the freshly squeezed lemon juice and granulated sugar. Stir until the sugar dissolves completely.

Combine the watermelon juice and lemon-sugar mixture in the pitcher. Add the cold water and stir well to combine. Taste and adjust sweetness by adding more sugar or water if desired.

Chill the watermelon lemonade in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.

Serve the watermelon lemonade in glasses filled with ice cubes and garnish with fresh mint leaves for an added touch of freshness.
