Ingredients

1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

6 cloves garlic, minced

1/4 cup unsalted butter

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust for spice preference)

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

1 tablespoon fresh lime juice

Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley

Cooked white rice or quinoa, for serving

Lemon wedges, for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Shrimp: Rinse the shrimp under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Season with salt and pepper, then set aside.

Sauté the Garlic: In a large skillet, melt the butter and olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Sauté for about 1-2 minutes, until the garlic becomes fragrant but not browned.

Cook the Shrimp: Add the shrimp to the skillet, cooking for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until they turn pink and opaque.

Add Flavor: Pour in the soy sauce, lemon juice, and lime juice. Stir well to combine all the flavors, allowing the shrimp to cook in the mixture for another minute.

Garnish and Serve: Remove the skillet from heat and sprinkle with chopped parsley. Serve the shrimp over a bed of cooked white rice or quinoa. Garnish with lemon wedges for an extra zesty touch.
