Ingredients

1 lb sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes

1 cup all-purpose flour

2 large eggs, beaten

1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko)

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp smoked paprika

Salt and pepper, to taste

2 tbsp olive oil

1 package (16 oz) store-bought gnocchi

2 cups fresh spinach

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Fresh basil, for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Steak Nuggets: In a bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Dredge each steak cube in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.

Bread the Nuggets: Dip the floured steak in the beaten eggs, then coat with breadcrumbs until fully covered. Set aside.

Cook the Steak Nuggets: In a large skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Once hot, add the steak nuggets in batches, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove and set on a paper towel to drain excess oil.

Cook the Gnocchi: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the gnocchi and cook according to package instructions until they float to the surface. Drain and set aside.

Sauté Vegetables: In the same skillet used for the steak, add spinach and cherry tomatoes. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until spinach is wilted and tomatoes are softened.

Combine: Add the cooked gnocchi to the skillet and toss with the sautéed vegetables. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.

Serve: Plate a generous portion of the gnocchi and vegetable mix, then top with the crispy steak nuggets. Garnish with fresh basil and additional Parmesan if desired.
