Ingredients

1 cup creamy peanut butter

1 cup powdered sugar

1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional for topping)

Instructions

In a medium mixing bowl, combine the creamy peanut butter and melted unsalted butter. Stir until thoroughly mixed and smooth.

Gradually add the powdered sugar to the peanut butter mixture, mixing well with a spatula until fully combined and there are no lumps.

Stir in the vanilla extract for added flavor.

Line an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang to easily lift the fudge out later.

Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly with a spatula.

If desired, sprinkle chocolate chips over the top and gently press them into the fudge.

Refrigerate the fudge for at least 2 hours, or until set.

Once firm, lift the fudge out of the dish using the parchment paper and cut into squares.
