Ingredients

4 cups fresh or frozen corn kernels

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup milk (whole or half-and-half)

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

1 tablespoon sugar (optional, adjust based on sweetness preference)

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

1/4 teaspoon onion powder (optional)

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (for added flavor, optional)

Fresh chives or parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Begin by preparing your slow cooker. If you have a liner, it can make cleanup a breeze, but it’s not necessary.

In your slow cooker, add the corn kernels, heavy cream, milk, and unsalted butter. Stir to combine all the ingredients.

Sprinkle in the sugar (if using), salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix again to evenly distribute the spices.

Cover the slow cooker and set it on low heat for 4-6 hours or high heat for 2-3 hours. Stir occasionally, if possible, to prevent sticking and ensure even cooking.

About 30 minutes before serving, taste your creamed corn and adjust the seasoning if needed. If you want a thicker consistency, you can mash some of the corn with a fork.

Just before serving, stir in the Parmesan cheese if using until melted and well combined.

Serve warm, garnished with freshly chopped chives or parsley for a pop of color and added flavor.

                Prep Time: 10 minutes | Total Time: 4-6 hours | Servings: 6-8
