Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound 85% lean ground beef for the smash patty
  • 2 cups romaine lettuce chopped
  • 1 medium avocado sliced
  • 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion
  • 1/4 cup sugar-free mayonnaise for the sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard for flavor
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika for seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil for cooking
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder for seasoning
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. While the skillet is heating, form the ground beef into four equal balls.
  • Once the skillet is hot, place the beef balls in the skillet and use a spatula to smash them down into patties. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on one side until browned.
  • Flip the patties and season with garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until desired doneness.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the sugar-free mayonnaise and Dijon mustard to create the sauce.
  • To assemble the bowls, start with a base of chopped romaine lettuce, then top with the smashed burger patties, sliced avocado, halved cherry tomatoes, and diced red onion.
  • Drizzle the mayonnaise-Dijon sauce over the top and serve immediately.

Notes

Tip 1: For added flavor, consider adding cheese on top of the patties during the last minute of cooking.
