Ingredients

2 cans of refrigerated crescent roll dough

2 (8 oz) packages of cream cheese, softened

1 cup granulated sugar, divided

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

1/4 cup honey (optional, for drizzling)

Powdered sugar, for dusting (optional)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.

Unroll one can of crescent roll dough and lay it flat in the bottom of the greased baking dish, pressing it to seal any seams.

In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, 1/2 cup of granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.

Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crescent roll layer in the baking dish.

Unroll the second can of crescent roll dough, and lay it over the top of the cream cheese layer, pressing gently to seal.

In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, remaining 1/2 cup of granulated sugar, and cinnamon. Drizzle this mixture evenly over the top layer of crescent dough.

Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the center is set.

Allow the bars to cool for at least 10 minutes. Optionally, drizzle with honey and dust with powdered sugar before cutting into squares.
