  • 2 cups canned chickpeas drained and rinsed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil for roasting
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika for flavor
  • 0.5 teaspoon cayenne pepper adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder for seasoning
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the drained chickpeas with olive oil, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, and salt.
  • Toss the chickpeas until they are evenly coated with the spice mixture.
  • Spread the chickpeas in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Roast in the preheated oven for 25 to 30 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy, stirring halfway through.

Notes

Allow the chickpeas to cool before serving for extra crunch; store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
