Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound large shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 4 cups broccoli florets fresh or frozen
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil for sautéing
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger freshly grated
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce low sodium preferred
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil for flavor
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional for extra heat
  • 1 cup cooked brown rice for serving

Instructions
 

  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
  • Add the minced garlic and grated ginger to the skillet, sautéing for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for about 3-4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they turn pink and opaque.
  • Stir in the broccoli florets and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes until they are tender but still crisp.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, sriracha, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes.
  • Pour the sauce over the shrimp and broccoli, stirring to coat evenly and cook for another 2 minutes.

Notes

Store in airtight containers in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Reheat in the microwave or on the stovetop before serving. Adjust the spice level by modifying the amount of sriracha and red pepper flakes.
