Ingredients

2 ribeye steaks (1 inch thick)

Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon butter

1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup chicken broth

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley, for garnish

1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

Prepare the Steaks: Season both sides of the ribeye steaks generously with salt and pepper. Let them sit at room temperature for about 20 minutes.

Cook the Steaks: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the steaks and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until they reach your desired doneness. Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest on a plate, covered loosely with foil.

Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the butter. Once melted, add the shrimp and sprinkle with Cajun seasoning. Cook for about 2-3 minutes until the shrimp turn pink and opaque.

Add the Flavor: Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for an additional minute until fragrant.

Creamy Delight: Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring well to combine. Simmer for about 3-4 minutes until the sauce begins to thicken. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and lemon juice, ensuring the cheese has melted and everything is fully incorporated.

Serve: Slice the steaks and place them on serving plates. Spoon the creamy Cajun shrimp sauce generously over the steak. Garnish with fresh parsley.

Enjoy: Serve hot with your favorite sides such as garlic mashed potatoes or sautéed vegetables for a complete meal.
