1 package (12 oz) of graham crackers, crushed

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

2 tablespoons sugar

For the cream layer:

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1 cup powdered sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 cup heavy whipping cream

4 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for a thicker consistency)

Prepare the crust: In a mixing bowl, combine crushed graham crackers, melted butter, and sugar. Stir until the mixture resembles wet sand. Press this mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish to form an even layer. Refrigerate while preparing the other layers.

    Make the cream layer: In a large bowl, beat softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar, mixing until well combined. Stir in vanilla extract. In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until completely combined. Spread this layer evenly over the cooled graham cracker crust.

      Prepare the strawberry layer: In another bowl, combine sliced strawberries, granulated sugar, lemon juice, and cornstarch (if using). Stir well and let the mixture sit for about 10-15 minutes until the strawberries release their juices.
