Ingredients

2 cups fresh orange juice

1 cup fresh grapefruit juice

1 cup fresh lemon juice

1 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup water

Zest of 1 orange

Zest of 1 lemon

Pinch of salt

Instructions

In a small saucepan, combine water and sugar over medium heat. Stir until the sugar is fully dissolved, creating a simple syrup. Remove from heat and let cool.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the orange juice, grapefruit juice, lemon juice, zests, and a pinch of salt.

Once the simple syrup has cooled, add it to the citrus mixture. Stir well to combine.

Pour the mixture into a shallow dish or an ice cream maker. If using a shallow dish, place it in the freezer. Every 30 minutes, use a fork to scrape the crystals and stir until the sorbet is fully frozen and fluffy, about 3-4 hours. If using an ice cream maker, churn according to the manufacturer's instructions until the sorbet reaches a smooth consistency.

Serve immediately for a soft consistency or transfer to an airtight container and freeze for an additional hour for a firmer texture. Garnish with fresh mint leaves or additional citrus zest if desired.
