Ingredients

3 cups rice cereal

2 cups mixed nuts (almonds, cashews, walnuts)

2 cups pretzel sticks

1 cup popcorn (popped)

1 cup chocolate-covered raisins

1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/4 cup brown sugar

2 teaspoons smoked paprika

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for extra heat)

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

1/4 cup maple syrup

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Sea salt to taste

Instructions

Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

Mix dry ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the rice cereal, mixed nuts, pretzel sticks, popcorn, and chocolate-covered raisins. Toss well to evenly mix all the crunchy goodness.

Prepare the seasoning mix: In a small bowl, whisk together cocoa powder, brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper (if using), and a pinch of sea salt until well combined.

Combine wet ingredients: In another bowl, mix melted butter, maple syrup, and vanilla extract until smooth.

Combine all: Pour the wet mixture over the dry ingredients, stirring gently to coat everything evenly. Sprinkle the seasoning mix over the top and toss until everything is well combined and evenly coated.

Bake: Spread the mixture evenly on the prepared baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes to ensure even baking.

Cool down: Once baked, remove from the oven and let the party mix cool completely on the baking sheet. It will harden slightly as it cools.

Serve: Once cooled, break apart any clumps and season with additional sea salt if desired. Store in an airtight container until ready to serve.
