Ingredients

1 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent rolls

1 pound ground beef or turkey

1 packet taco seasoning mix

1 cup refried beans

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded lettuce

1 medium tomato, diced

1/2 cup sour cream

1/4 cup salsa

1/4 cup sliced black olives (optional)

Fresh cilantro for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Prepare the Crescent Base: Unroll the crescent rolls and press them into a 12-inch pizza pan or baking sheet, making sure to seal any perforations. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Remove and allow to cool slightly.

Cook the Meat: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef or turkey until fully browned (about 7-10 minutes). Drain excess fat. Stir in the taco seasoning mix with 3/4 cup of water. Cook according to package instructions, allowing it to simmer until thickened. Remove from heat.

Layer the Ingredients: Spread the refried beans evenly over the baked crescent crust. Next, add the seasoned meat on top of the beans. Sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese.

Bake Again: Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Add Fresh Toppings: Remove from the oven and allow to cool slightly. Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and black olives. Drizzle sour cream and salsa on top.

Garnish and Serve: Add fresh cilantro if desired. Cut into slices and serve warm.
