Ingredients

1 (15.25 oz) box lemon-flavored cake mix

1 (8 oz) package cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

1/2 cup sour cream

1 cup powdered sugar

1 cup lemon curd (store-bought or homemade)

3 large eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 tsp almond extract

1/2 cup milk

Zest of 1 lemon

Fresh lemon slices and mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the softened cream cheese, melted butter, and sour cream until smooth and creamy.

Add the powdered sugar, lemon curd, eggs, vanilla extract, and almond extract to the cream cheese mixture. Mix until well combined.

Gradually add in the cake mix and milk, stirring gently until just combined. Be careful not to overmix—lumps are okay!

Fold in the lemon zest for a refreshing zing.

Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.

Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Let cool for at least 15 minutes before slicing.

Serve warm or at room temperature, optionally garnished with fresh lemon slices and mint leaves for an extra touch. Enjoy the tangy goodness!
