1 cup creamy peanut butter

1 cup brown sugar, packed

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 large egg

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)

1/2 cup chopped peanuts (optional)

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper and set aside.

    Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the creamy peanut butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Mix until smooth and creamy.

      Add Egg and Vanilla: Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well incorporated.

        Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the baking soda, salt, and all-purpose flour. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined. Do not overmix.
