Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 cup brown sugar, packed

1/2 cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

3 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup chocolate chips

1 cup chopped Twix bars (about 4 regular-sized bars)

1/2 cup caramel sauce

Sea salt, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a mini muffin tin or line it with mini muffin liners.

In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.

Add in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients until just combined.

Fold in the chocolate chips and chopped Twix bars until evenly distributed throughout the dough.

Using a tablespoon or cookie scoop, fill each muffin cup about 3/4 full with dough.

Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden and the centers are still soft. Remove from the oven and let the cookie cups cool in the pan for 5 minutes.

Once they’ve cooled slightly, create a small well in the center of each cookie cup using the back of a spoon. Drizzle some caramel sauce into the well of each cookie cup.

For an added touch, garnish with a sprinkle of sea salt on top if desired.

Allow cookie cups to cool completely in the tin before gently transferring them to a wire rack.
