Ingredients

1 lb ground beef (preferably lean)

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 medium onion, diced

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 bell pepper, diced (red or green)

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)

1 teaspoon sesame oil

1 teaspoon ginger, minced

1 teaspoon chili paste (adjust for spiciness)

2 cups cooked rice (white, brown, or cauliflower rice)

1 cup broccoli florets (steamed)

1 carrot, grated

2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)

Sesame seeds (for garnish)

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Cook the Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, add the olive oil. Once hot, add the ground beef and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Break it apart with a spatula as it cooks. Season with salt and pepper.

Add Aromatics: Push the beef to the side of the skillet and add the diced onion and garlic. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until the onion becomes translucent. Stir everything together.

Incorporate Vegetables: Add the bell pepper, broccoli florets, and grated carrot to the skillet. Stir-fry for an additional 5 minutes until vegetables are tender yet crisp.

Copycat Sauce: In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, minced ginger, and chili paste. Pour this sauce over the beef and vegetables, stir well, and let it cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

Serve: Divide the cooked rice among serving bowls, then top each bowl generously with the ground beef mixture.

Garnish: Finish off with sliced green onions and a sprinkle of sesame seeds for that extra crunch and beautiful presentation.

Enjoy: Dive right in and enjoy your Viral Ground Beef Bowl!
