Ingredients

1 cup (226g) unsalted butter, divided

8 oz (225g) white chocolate, chopped

1 cup (200g) granulated sugar

1 cup (200g) packed brown sugar

4 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1 cup (175g) chocolate chips (dark or semi-sweet)

1/2 cup (90g) chopped nuts (optional, such as walnuts or pecans)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9x13 inch (23x33 cm) baking dish with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides for easy removal later.

Melt the Chocolate: In a medium saucepan, melt 1/2 cup of the butter and the chopped white chocolate over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.

Mix Sugars and Eggs: In a large bowl, combine the granulated sugar, brown sugar, and the remaining 1/2 cup of butter, whisking until well mixed. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla.

Combine Mixtures: Slowly pour the melted white chocolate mixture into the egg mixture, stirring until fully incorporated.

Sift and Add Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, salt, and baking powder. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring just until combined. Be careful not to overmix.

Fold in the Chocolate Chips: Gently fold in the chocolate chips and nuts, if using.

Transfer to Baking Dish: Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly with a spatula. For a marbled effect, scoop tablespoons of melted white chocolate over the top and use a knife to swirl it gently.

Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.

Cool and Serve: Let the brownies cool in the pan for about 10-15 minutes, then lift them out using the parchment paper. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before cutting into squares.

Enjoy: Serve these decadent white chocolate marble brownies warm or at room temperature, and enjoy the rich flavors!
