Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup yuzu juice freshly squeezed from yuzu fruit
  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 cup granulated sugar to sweeten the lemonade
  • 4 cups cold water can use sparkling water for a fizzy version
  • 1 teaspoon yuzu zest for added flavor
  • 1 cup ice cubes for serving
  • 2 slices lemon for garnish
  • 2 slices yuzu for garnish
  • 1 sprig fresh mint for garnish

Instructions
 

  • In a medium saucepan, combine the granulated sugar and 1 cup of cold water. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar completely dissolves to create a simple syrup. Allow it to cool.
  • In a large pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed yuzu juice, lemon juice, and the cooled simple syrup. Stir well to mix the flavors together.
  • Add the remaining 3 cups of cold water to the pitcher and stir again. Adjust sweetness if necessary by adding more sugar or water to taste.
  • Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the yuzu lemonade over the ice. Garnish each glass with a slice of lemon, a slice of yuzu, and a sprig of fresh mint.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy the refreshing taste of your homemade Yuzu Lemonade!

Tip 1: For an extra twist, try adding a splash of sparkling water for a fizzy version.
